MLA Online April 27th

Updates: 

• We are currently in a holding pattern on exactly what the end of the year will look like.  We need to understand the different phases when the stay at home order is lifted in KC.  This includes graduation, end of the year school book return, yearbook pick up, etc.  As the situations change, we will keep you updated.  
• Below is a current 2020-21 school calendar.  As of right now, we will be following the start date listed and hosting events that are listed.  
  • We are hoping to have the MLA Golf Outing scheduled for June 6th, but the golf course also has to wait.  
  • Our annual Basketball Camp is scheduled for July 28th-30th and Volleyball Camp for August 3rd-5th.
• Staffing News:  As was shared earlier in the year, Mr. Maas will be stepping down from 7th/8th grade homeroom and will serve in a part-time position next year. 
  • Mrs. Denney has agreed to teach 7th/8th homeroom next year. 
  • Mrs. Kutz and her family will be returning to MLA to teach 4th-grade.  Mrs. Kutz taught first grade for MLA prior to this year.  Please keep the Kutz Family in your prayers as they return to the KC area. 
  • As of right now, all homeroom teaching positions are filled.
