Mr. Eckhoff teaches seventh grade and Middle School English. He has taught for over 20 years, the last six in Lutheran Schools. Before arriving at Martin Luther Academy, Mr. Eckhoff has taught band, choir, jazz, music appreciation, personal finance, in-school suspension, third & fourth grade, and been a principal. He has taught every grade from kindergarten up through 12th grade at one point or another. Mr. Eckhoff is the son of a Lutheran school principal and attended Lutheran schools from preschool through high school. He is excited to be back "home" in Lutheran schools after 15 years in public education.
Mr. Eckhoff has been married to his wife, Sarah, since 1999. They have three children, twin daughters Ella & Allison, and one son Walter. The Eckhoff children attend Hope Lutheran School in Shawnee, KS where Mrs. Eckhoff is a middle school teacher.
